Graham Downes sudden death raises questions the UT failed to ask
If you want answers to these questions, why didn't you just attend the arraignment or trial?!?! It is a public forum. Anyone can attend and there was room for the public even though many family, friends, and admirers attended. It is not the newspaper's responsibility to cover every last detail of a public trial--go yourself. Also, the DA did an excellent job and secured a second degree murder conviction. A jury of 12 San Diego citizens (your peers) found him guilty of second degree murder. It is not a conspiracy. Justice was served. So sad, though. RIP Graham.— April 24, 2014 2:40 p.m.
