Court finds sex offender residency law unreasonable
all of the residency restrictions are unconstitutional for several reasons. for one they interfere with Megan's Law which they are not allowed to do. 2. they dont do anything to reduce crimes. 90 percent of new sex offenses are done by people not on the registry.. 3. the area where a person commits a sex crime is for the majority of cases not close to home. 4. stranger danger only accounts for less than 1% of all sex crimes throughout the country. 5. they violate a person's guaranteed right of being able to live where they choose. its no different than banishment which was ruled illegal 150 yrs ago.— September 19, 2012 9:38 a.m.
