Shot in Lakeside: Sunrise Powerlink Chopper at Work
The route may not be bulldozed into oblivion, but for those of us who have to listen to the helicopters flying over our homes everyday it is disturbing not only to us, but our livestock, our families, our neighbors, etc. Alpine has businesses closing due to the powerlink construction. Some of us have the powerlink bordering our property where we will have to look at these large towers every day, destroying views that were part of the reasons we bought our homes where we did. We had the illegals and the smuggling coming through the back hills of alpine before the powerlink constructions started, the access roads just give the smugglers better access.— January 11, 2012 7:22 p.m.
