Turkey Day
Nice entry, refried. Glad you mentioned the effect on Mexico's natives, since it wasn't just the Pilgrims on the east coast that screwed things up for the native peoples of this continent. This passage: "..bullfighting, smallpox, flan, horses, and the concept of land ownership..." caused me to have an "Eddie moment." :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEu0cJQYOIA— November 26, 2009 1:14 p.m.
Remains of the Day
I adored this, Cuddle. I think it's the best thing I've seen from you. Just lovely. Sorry to hear about your grandmother. I hope she and you have a peaceful day together.— November 26, 2009 1:06 p.m.
Bonus Blog: Adam Lambert on the AMAs
God, I'm sure they'll have him on right at the END, too. I'm TIRED. I wish Dave would kick Natalie Portman's skinny ass out of that chair & get Glambert on there.— November 26, 2009 12:17 a.m.
San Diego Coalition of Reason
Oh yeah, Daniels. I like that film a lot. Stellar cast!— November 26, 2009 12:06 a.m.

Oh, Cuddle... Just in case you're around, Adam's on Letterman tonight.— November 25, 2009 11:41 p.m.
The Slightly Hodge-Podge Composition
Alistair is VERY properly British. So was this guy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alistair_Cooke I actually like it spelled "Alasdaire" best, only because I think "Daire" is a cool nickname for it. Here's the only "Daire" I've ever heard of. I'm sure there are others: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daire_Nolan Without the "e," Alasdair is fairly common, and evidently Scottish/Gaelic: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alasdair Everyone can have all my favorite kid names, BTW. I won't be using any of them. Maybe the world will turn out to be safe after all. :)— November 25, 2009 9:56 p.m.
Bonus Blog: Adam Lambert on the AMAs
I don't remember ever seeing AL in a hat. Like this one? http://blogs.usatoday.com/.a/6a00d83451b46269e201… Or maybe this one? http://media.photobucket.com/image/adam%20lambert… Behold, Origami. Le website: http://www.adamofficial.com/us/intro Aaaand the video on YouTube (which loads quicker and looks better than on the official site): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qv9RhUwMQT0— November 25, 2009 9:36 p.m.
The Slightly Hodge-Podge Composition
Well I guess Aleister 'should' be the epitome of the strange vibey name, considering this guy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleister_Crowley I still like the name, though. Great for a baby boy. Not enough Aleisters in the world.— November 25, 2009 5:06 p.m.
i'm awful and i admit it
Yes, nanners. I've been wondering about you, too. Hope all is well. Curious what you're baking for turkey day. :)— November 25, 2009 5:02 p.m.
