Trolling For Flamers
Hey, nanners and Danners: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-nxoxnqlLo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUYpUogn91U :)— September 28, 2009 8:05 p.m.
Trolling For Flamers
Refried....lied? "You're twenty-nine. All women are no older than twenty-nine. Ever. This is something I learned as a young boy." So why am I 37, then? Hmmmmmmm???? I'm 29 too, dammit!! ;)— September 28, 2009 8:01 p.m.
Wnen The EKG Goes Flatline...Was It Worth It?
<sigh> Abortion, Gun Control, and the Death Penalty? Really? Abortion: All hot air until the question "When does life begin?" is answered (and my answer, although perfectly logical, doesn't make anybody happy). Gun Control: A little late, ain't it? I suppose we could start, but the horse is already outta the barn on that one, I'm afraid. Death Penalty: If guilt is absolutely certain (irrefutable DNA & such), I'm okay with it. I'm from Texas, where as Ron White has observed, we're putting in an Express Lane. :) Saw an interesting story a couple weeks ago. My home state also says it's sorry in a BIG way if you happen to get thrown in jail there for a couple decades and are later proven innocent: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090904/ap_on_re_us/u… Quite a few of them, apparently, which is why the "if guilt is absolutely certain" caveat where the death penalty is concerned. And please don't call it the DP. That's Dr. Pepper, which is like, TOTALLY a (Dallas) Texas thang! :)— September 28, 2009 7:47 p.m.

<theme from The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly> SHOT #1: Blistering desert sun at midday. SHOT #2: Extreme closeup of the Gringo's squinting eyes. Slow zoom out just far enough to reveal the cigarette dangling from his snarling lips... SHOT #3: Rattlesnake, coiled to strike. <sound of hoofbeats>— September 28, 2009 6:25 a.m.
Target Practice?
I took a shot of that when I was in SD in March, but with helie-copters over it. :)— September 28, 2009 12:53 a.m.

I say, Doctor, what say you of this Botanical Impossibility?
"But AG is a princess," A pwincess? Moi? More like a queen. A drag queen, that is. ;) Just your ordinary, average, snarky gay dude trapped in a straight woman's body. That's about it.— September 27, 2009 11:51 p.m.

Gringo put forth: "Shakespeare wrote the ultimate love story, Mz. Fish. "Lolita" is a book about obsession. It is a book that revolves around what we become when desire outflanks wisdom. I'm certainly happy (and quite respectful) that you and SD and many others saw Nabokov as a brilliant writer, but I see him as that reporter who champions the rapist and casts humiliation on the victim." You know I don't read much fiction. But I did see Kubrick's Lolita: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0056193/ Pretty pervy.— September 27, 2009 11:37 p.m.

"Oh, shoot, did you meant AustIn, Texas, or AustEn, Jane? :P" I definitely prefer Austin, Texas. :D But don't say "shoot" there, Fishy! It could happen!— September 27, 2009 11:30 p.m.
I say, Doctor, what say you of this Botanical Impossibility?
You've never even seen me, Daniels! What optimism! And poor Pikey's probably young enough to be my kid. (Don't worry, Pikey. The big, bad old cougar lady lives many, many miles away from SD.)— September 27, 2009 7:51 p.m.
