Just Move On Already

I think THIS: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VHT-SP756-Hot-Pink… Looks like some you'd never be able to get off, like, EVER. Sure hope uncle Pike can take care of Stella while Adam's in the joint. :)

Pursuit!

Amazing how some folks STILL have never heard of eBay. http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m38… My favorite bit: "Ph.D. in Oxymoronics" I'm stealing that one, fer sure.

Perrrrfect!

I second that emotion, Cuddle. "I'd rather keep that little bit of fascinating information to myself, thank you very much." "What did they want to orient me to, how to be homeless? I thought I was doing a good job at it!" LOL. Funny guy! The entire last paragraph (or what should be about a paragraph, if there was more than one) is just golden: "Another guy said "God Bless You Brother". The God Bless You got me, but the Brother part really got me. I realized that we were all sort of like a family. A crazy ,mixed up,biracial, homeless family. Yet a family still. And I would miss them all in that crazy nostalgic way that we all have for the kid that nobody played with, the girl who had epilepsy, the autistic boy, the kid who wore all black and was misunderstood. I hope that they are alright. I was always kind to them. They were alright with me. It just bothered me that they were so complacent with the situation though. I walked out of there with my pride intact and my head held high. The smell of the rain and the strong wind invigorated me! All my troubles were blowing away with the wind. The wind whipping at my clothes made me feel like Superman. I stepped out and into positivity. Whoa! I almost slipped. What is this? A snail?" Wow indeed. This is great stuff, Poe. It's got absolutely everything going for it. I love the ending. You can have all the courage in the world, and it's still so precarious, isn't it? Just one little slip-up... Love to know more about you. Are you still homeless now? Who are you now? Keep on bloggin', Brother! :)

Stringers Are NOT Reader Reporters, plus Taylor Swift's Taylor Guitar, Local Blogger Silenced By Killers, Wavves Calls SD "Wretched," SDMA Fishwrap, Zappa, Weiland, Axl, Blackheart, Ms. Beatle, Halford, Mower, more

re refried: Duh. Tell me something I don't know. It's not as if I don't get his MOTIVATION, but he's no less a dick for it. I was perfectly happy just ignoring the putz, despite the fact that I'm aware he continues to talk smack about me and try to bait me into participating in his crappy blog. Sure, I take a little swipe at him now and again, because he deserves it and it amuses me to do so. But, I think you grossly overestimate my level of pissed-offness, refried. Let me tell you a little story. Once upon a time, there was a rather ugly little girl named Teresa. (Not kind, but true.) Teresa was a tremendous advocate of free speech. She decided to amuse herself by calling yours truly by a completely inaccurate racial epithet every chance she got. We were 8 or 9. I put up with it. And put up with it. And put up with it some more. Then one day, I decided I was done putting up with it. When I next encountered this little Nellie Olson wannabe on the sidewalk, I very calmly asked her if she wouldn't like to step over onto the grass. She declined. I said, "Okay," and popped her one right in the snoot. Actually, I knocked her right on her a$$. This is what happens. :) Sometimes, a bully absolutely 'requires' a good pop in the snoot. There's not really a lot of emotion involved. Kinda like an old story about a Samurai that Joseph Campbell used to tell. He set off on his little journey to avenge the death of his master by offing the offer. Just as he's about to take said perp out, the perp spits in his face. Our samurai sheaths his sword, and walks away. Why? Because at that moment, he was angry. He lacked the proper detachment. If he had killed said a-hole out of anger, it would have been a personal act, and he would have dishonored the memory of his master by failing to complete his mission. Scared yet? :)

Who Killed Richard Swink?

The delusional SurfPuppy yapped: "America, and Americans, are the most open, caring, and suporting country/people in the world." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFO1b9I-u5Q Note that the only ones who stand up for the black woman in the store -- with the exception of one lady who gets very upset -- is a black man, and a group of women from outside the U.S. Most of your "caring, suporting [sic]" Americans don't do squat. I've seen a number of these experiments run. The average American sees a person in distress, and walks right on by. Those that stop to assist usually have a FOREIGN ACCENT of some type. Here's another example of your caring Americans: My 72-year-old neighbor, a Korean War veteran, recently fell in Costco. Not only did people look right at him and go on about shopping for all their crap, people actually STEPPED OVER HIM. Who finally helped him get up? A little old lady, even older and more frail than he. She was, however, American. On an up note: New Jersey, however, seems to be the exception. New Jersey kicks A$$! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dvzj8wyZ9PI

Bonus Blog: And The Same To You, Guv

LOL! I avoid the body-count news like diarrhea, hemorrhoids and herpes all put together, so I had no idea what was going on here. http://www.zimbio.com/Tom+Ammiano/articles/1xGYE8… Thanks, Cuddle! As much as I'm appalled at the childishness of it all, I can't help but giggle a little at that one.
