Use brains, stay in California
Found this informative article while researching an answer to the comparison on California vs. Texas property tax argument. My colleagues and I just got back from an extended work assignment in Texas, and I personally was never so happy to return back to coastal California! Personally did not enjoy being in Texas even while staying near San Antonio Riverwalk, which cannot even begin to compare to San Diego's Gas Lamp District. Texans can keep their unstable weather with humidity, constant rain, tornados & tornado warnings, freeway traffic and the lawless drivers on the country roads either turning right in front of our car from the left lane or passing on the right shoulder only to immediately turn left in front of us, and the surprisingly high food prices.! LOL. It really does not matter if I pay more money to live in California- it is the price one pays to live in paradise, which I gladly choose over the Texas mindset/ lifestyle alternative.— May 24, 2015 9:53 a.m.
