This Chargers stadium proposal? Watch it.
And you know this how?— May 18, 2015 6:30 p.m.
This Chargers stadium proposal? Watch it.
Lots of pretty pictures. Lots of big numbers. Let the negotiations begin. This should be very entertaining--and possibly very expensive.— May 18, 2015 5:27 p.m.
If it ain't a craft beer, sue!
The hop highway.— May 3, 2015 12:58 a.m.
Allied Gardens gets lucky in produce department
Unfortunately, that store was very small, cramped, and didn't carry some of the things that a bigger Albertson's in San Carlos carried. It's doubtful a major chain would snap up that property, as there really is no way to expand that location. And while it was the only supermarket in Allied Gardens, it just wasn't really that busy--certainly not as busy as it was years ago.— May 1, 2015 9:27 p.m.
It's Kilroy, from L.A. We're suing again.
I'm still wondering how many signatures that Kilroy collected in their ill-conceived plan to distract the voters by having a petition to keep the Chargers in San Diego--which meant absolutely nothing.— April 28, 2015 4:06 p.m.
Could Feds be prowling mayor's Qualcomm food and booze deal?
Can't wait to see the concession prices at the Q this season.— April 16, 2015 10:27 p.m.
Casa de Pico brings Old Town to La Mesa
I thought it moved because of the concession fiasco created when Delaware North took over control of the concessions contract in Old Town. And it was good that it did move in that it is now closer to where I live.— April 16, 2015 12:47 p.m.
Get me into the ballgame
The Padres, I thought, did a pretty good job warning fans in advance. They had staff with bullhorns telling people that other gates than the one I had chosen (by the Tilted Kilt) had shorter lines. I went to a different gate and got in in under 15 minutes.— April 13, 2015 1:58 p.m.
Faulconer insider bags rich stadium deal
If Centerplate gets kicked out, er, does not get a new contract, it is my understanding that much of the kitchen facilities will be removed by Centerplate (as apparently it is owned by them). Delaware North will then have to scramble and bring in new kitchen facilities for the stadium, and you can bet that concession prices will rise. The Chargers will blame the city and the concessionaire, but the team will still keep raking in their portion of the concessions.— April 3, 2015 12:06 p.m.
Reduce water…and continue building? Huh?
Two of the solutions are the ones you don't want to see.— April 2, 2015 4:48 p.m.
