A sampling of San Diego's vanity license plates
I have seen some plates that have made me laugh, smile, and others that simply left me clueless. Some just look like the person randomly picked letters out of the alphabet and stuck them together. I say if you're going to spend the extra money personalizing your plate it can't hurt to possibly have a few other people check it over first to make sure it doesn't sound like incoherent babble when complete. Just my cents.— February 28, 2009 6:06 a.m.
The Cats Meow
This story makes me think about my neighboors...No, they don't have a cat, but they have a dog. A dog that is the size of a cat and insanly annoying. It is one of those little dogs that yips ALL THE TIME. When I come home from work, it greats me with it's annoying and endless yipping. And it's owners don't seem to notice that it's irritating everyone around it, because they don't stop it from barking. Now I love animals just as much as the next person, but if your cat, dog, or even your kid is driving me to the point of wanting to claw my own eyes out, don't be surprised if I take matters into my own hands...— December 5, 2008 6:11 a.m.
Cinema Valore - Dark Knight
I have two comments to make which will sound like they are in fact contradicting themselves... If you look at Ledger's performance in comparison with those who have gone before him he obviously gave the character a different feel. Some would say one should stay true to who the character always was in a series of films. And to drift too far from that would somehow change who they are and why they do what they do. If you look at the Joker in earlier films, Ledger put a totally different twist on the character. Now there is the other side of the coin. The thought that his performance which showed a more dark and disturbing version of his previous self, gave the viewer a deeper look into who he was. I do have to say however, that it is my opinion that based on the overall feel the movie was going for, his performance worked and he did a great job.— October 18, 2008 10:34 a.m.

There are a ton of songs with the word black in the lyrics. What are some of the best and worst?— September 29, 2008 7:18 a.m.
