I Want William Shatner

I Want William Shatner
William Shatner was on TV last week on the George Lopez show and he sang a duet with that Asian kid who covered the Whitney Houston song on the Asian American Idol...I will try to find a vid.... BTW, Shatner actually cut an album in the late 60's and did a cover of the Beatles "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds"....I will look for that one too.— April 27, 2010 9:40 p.m.
Letters
This is why we have public employees making out while those who support their hefty paychecks and pensions slide into ruin. This is why there seems to be no end to the financial crisis. And this is why tax increases and service cuts only make the problem worse — it’s like giving booze to an alcoholic. Name Withheld ========================= Now that is my kind of letter. I agree you you 100% brother. I only wish I knew your name so I could publicly thank you.— April 27, 2010 3:29 p.m.

Just Tell Me What You Want
Oh, one of my favorite films, Less Than Zero, and Spader is right on in it. :) ============ Yes, "Less Than Zero" was a fabulous picture. I have seen it so many times. I think it is the best character driven show the Brat Pack ever put out...... I loved Jami Gertz also. She nailed her role, I was hoping she would break out bigtime-but she never did. Right now I follow this small-time actress who I saw in a Showtime movie "Strangers with Candy", Maria Thayer. I like little independant pics........— April 26, 2010 4:01 p.m.

Remember: Most Scams Are Legal
Your experience as a S&L regulator during the crisis is quite eye-opening. ========================= A2Z has some good insight-persona insight. Seidman was incompetent. He sold all RTC assets (Im talking commercial/investment RE-not residential), everything, at literally pennies on the dollar. Instead of developing a systematic, measured marketing plan to dispose of the assets one at a time in a controlled manner to get the highest possible price, Seidman "bundled" the assets into HUGE pools, where everyone was completely shut out of the bidding/buying process except huge Investment Banks and REIT's. The Investment Banks and REIT's then did what Seidman (the RTC) should have done-sold the properties off one at a time in a controlled, measured environment with a thorough and extensive marketing plan for each property. Big Business buys properties for 20 cents on the dollar thanks to Seidman, and then, even selling at a discounted 80%, still triples their investment (if they were paying all cash-if they were using leverage who knows how much Big Business was raking in). Seidman gave away the store-and I have to believe that this was done intentionally to line the pockets of the favored few-which is how gov works today (and has basically always worked).— April 26, 2010 8 a.m.
Michael Fanghella Seeking $150,000 Job
She should have realized at some point that her husband was a nitwit, although, admittedly, San Diego voters never figured that out ====== LOL...Duke pulled the wool over many of the people's eyes here! As I told you and the readers here once before Don-when Duke first ran for office back in 88 it came out he had never before voted! And I think it is funny because now it comes out that Meg Whitman has not voted in the last 30 years either! You can't make this stuff up.— April 25, 2010 10:39 p.m.
