Comparatively, Tech Workers Haul in Bucks in San Diego
That is an excellent link on grade inflation. They have the Duke study-which is faulry well known and I have seen it in the past. It is intewresting b/c the link says-correctly- that the more selective the school is the more grade inflation you have, and the less selective the school the less grade inflation. One well known ABA law school has fairly low entrance requirements, comparatively speaking, and they flunk out 65% of their students-1/3 the first year and 1/3 the second year. To flunk out you need to have a GPA below 2.0. I find that interesting.....— January 14, 2011 8:53 p.m.

I thought you might have the attitude that Pit Bulls were inherently dangerous-and I guess you do not think that. You are right, the owner of the dog is the one who has the most influence over the dog, by far. I adopted my first Pit Bull in June-a senior who had been breed, used, abused and dumped- and was going to be put to sleep at a local shelter. I lover and she is a wonderful girl. I have fostered a few Pit Bulls since then and I am sold on the breed. The Animal Planet show "Pit Boss" and "Pit Bulls and Parolees" also reinforced my feelings for these dogs who get black balled and black listed over hysria that they was of no doing from the breed, hey have no way combat that prejudice.— January 14, 2011 8:45 p.m.

Nathan and Mindy Fletcher Attend to Rail Transportation
Last fall, Fletcher authored a controversial bill signed by then–Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger that lifted the cap on spending by San Diego’s redevelopment agency, a move widely seen as intended to assist Sanders and his allies in the downtown establishment build a new taxpayer-financed stadium for the Chargers. =================== That right there ended any hope he had for KFC Sanders job. Taxpayers don't like to get bambozzled or railroaded with back room deals that saddle them with billions in debt, we learned that one the hard way with the pension scams.— January 14, 2011 8:37 p.m.
Nathan and Mindy Fletcher Attend to Rail Transportation
GOP assemblyman Nathan Fletcher (whose official campaign biography, posted on his website, says that “before his election to the Legislature he served honorably in the military, the community and the political arena”) is said by some city hall insiders to have the inside track to collect the big money expected by some to come into the race from corporations seeking to benefit from a possible City bankruptcy and an ensuing orgy of outsourcing and asset sales ==================== Sorry, there will be "no asset sales" when San Diego files BK. A chapter 9 does not include asset sales, it is strictly a cash flow BK, not an asset/liability BK, all assets are exempt.— January 14, 2011 8:34 p.m.
Full Disclosure at Adamis Pharmaceuticals: Yeah, Sure
When in doubt disclose. Simple rule that never lets you down. Jones death was on the San Diego- southern districts- website, I dont recall it being in the UT, but maybe it was. I thought most people would not have heard unless thye were on the courts website......— January 14, 2011 8:30 p.m.

Wall Street Traders Bring Home Far More Than Brain Surgeons
We are so much closer to a banana republic than what were were 50 years ago, when as a country we had so much more going for us, that IMO we are a banana republic, we have veered that far off course.— January 14, 2011 3:43 p.m.
