Alleged Bank of America Official Threatens Protester
You should have just igrnoed him, not said a word. Public sidewalk is public property and you are free to engage in all the free speech you want to. Next time, pull out a video cell phone and just start recording him, including is face. Even if you do not have a video cell phone fake it and pretend the phone you do have is a video, he won't know. That will 100% clear the situation up.— October 13, 2011 11:22 a.m.
Who caused San Diego's massive power failure September 8?
I missed it too.— October 13, 2011 11:16 a.m.
Councilmember Wants a Different Approach to Managed Competition Process
They do not, however, look at alternatives to improve service levels, or ****reduce the cost of those services.*** You mean like cutting salary and benefits- overall compensation! I am be wrong but I think that has been tried the last 12 years, so far no success.— October 13, 2011 11:13 a.m.
U.S. Attorney To Target Media Outlets For Printing Medicinal Marijuana Ads
As one who voted for Obama, I expected so much more from our President == You aint kidding.— October 13, 2011 8:31 a.m.

"Furthermore, since the general consensus from the peanut gallery is that I'm wrong about everything, why bother to share?" You are spinning again, no one said you're wrong about everything, or half, or 25% or 75%, there are just legit difference of opinions, your problem Jeff is you think you know everything and try to ridicule and demean others whom disagree with you. No biggie, this is the internet and that is what the internet was made for, but claiming **everyone** (excuse me, the "peanut gallery") says you're wrong is a falsehood. How often do you post to your blog?? I see it goes back a few years.— October 12, 2011 5:04 p.m.
The Advertising in Regal Mira Mesa's Lobby is Mighty Big
I actually like seeing dramatic movies in smaller theaters. I say LA Confidential in a theater that had only 20 seats, and it turned out to be an awesome experience. I saw "Top Gun" at the 1,000 seat theater on University south of College on opening night in 1986, and for a show like that the bigger the better. Same for a film like Avatar or Star Wars, the bigger the better.— October 12, 2011 4:55 p.m.
Shames Rejoins Bar
At least one board member was upset about his not being in the bar while claiming to be a lawyer. ================= Don, how many times do we have to go over this?? #1- Shames is a a MEMBER of the Bar even while on "inactive" status-so the board memebr claiming he was "not being in the bar" is factual wrong. #2-Shames is still a lawyer even while on inactive status. He would still be a lawyer even if he were disbarred. He simply cannot practice while on inactive status and he could obviously not practice if disbarred, but he would still be a lawyer in both instances-an inactive lawyer or a disbarred lawyer. OK, my rant is over.— October 12, 2011 4:50 p.m.
Law Bans "Open Carry" of Handguns
I disagree with the law only because the other firearm laws are so restrictive. It is a known fact, more guns = less crime. I am 100% pro firearm, even though I do not and will not ever own one myself, I think the choice is one every individual should have the right to make w/o gov's lonr arm doing it for them.— October 12, 2011 12:21 p.m.

"But their risk would be very significant as they would be borrowing short and lending long." And here is the problem with this comment, as with most of your comments, the banks were/are not lending long, they were not lending short, they were not lending at all. They were making billions off the spread. Try to get off the short bus and give at least one intellectually honest answer.— October 12, 2011 7:59 a.m.
Who caused San Diego's massive power failure September 8?
No matter what you might think, there's no such thing as easy money...even for the big banks." Rightttttt......I am sure that money Goldman Sachs scammed off the taxpayers via the AIG bailout was sooo hard to get. That was the very definetion of EASY MONEY, as easy as it gets. And the fact is GS would have been BK without that EASY money, and furthermore there was NO REASON AIG should have paid out 100 cents on the dolalr to GS-that was a set up by Big Business and those shadow elites in gov to scam EASY MONEY off the poor and middle class. Give it up Jeff, your apologist comments about Big Business and finance are so far off the mark you look like Bozo the Clown at an MIT convention on Astro-Physics.— October 12, 2011 7:56 a.m.
