Navarro's Documentary to Debut
Yep, he went to a hotel and tried to kill himself. Pretty sad actually. He hired James Brosnahan out fo SF as his criminal lawyer. He is as big of a gun as money can buy.— March 16, 2012 10:51 a.m.
Navarro's Documentary to Debut
Yep. Remember when Silberman attempted suicide? That would make anyone sympathetic, and with good reason. I do recall Silberman hired one of the best lawyers in the USA to defend him at his criminal trial.— March 16, 2012 8:43 a.m.
Navarro's Documentary to Debut
The Golding/Navarro Mayors race was the most closely contested mayor race the city has ever seen. As I recall navorro only lost by 1% point.— March 15, 2012 11:30 p.m.
UCSD Continues Cramming New Construction
I rememebrthe SAME scenario at SDSU in the late 1980's recession, cosntuction everywhere.......the claim back then (false claim) was that these projects had been in the pipeline for 5 years-before the crash staretd, but if that were the case then there would eventiually be a construction slow down 5 years after the recession, of course the contruction never ceased. SDSU has been building the campus every year since I started attending 30 yeasr ago.— March 15, 2012 11:25 p.m.
Dumanis Calls for Regional Education Summit
Don't worry Visduh-there is no chance whatsoever she could eb elected Mayor. The Cynthia Sommers civil rights lawsuit pending against her wipes out any chance she could even dream of. When DA's fabricate evidence in murder trials they don't go very far when they run for higher office. I was shocked the State Bar did not investigate her, until I found out she was a Trustee there........— March 15, 2012 11:23 p.m.
Dumanis Releases Plan for City Hall Accountability
Visduh, you give the public too little credit. DA Ed Miller was forced out of office over the same type of frame up that Dumbass is not trying to defend against right now. The exact same. Dale Akiki won a multi million dollar judgment against the city and Miller was sent packing. There is no doubt in my mind that when the public gets stuck with the same kind of judgment in the Sommers case Dumbass will suffer the exact same fate as Miller. Just my opinion, but I don't think the public will miss this major issue.— March 15, 2012 9:13 a.m.
Tony Gwynn got salivary gland cancer but won't denounce chewing tobacco
Wouldn't a jury have to make the ruling on if perjury were committed?? Not the judge (unless you waived a jury trial?)??— March 15, 2012 9:08 a.m.
Qualcomm CEO Makes Mayoral Endorsement
Berkeley is one of the top five, and most likely the the top public, engineering schools in the nation. If he has a PhD from UCB he is a serious scholar.— March 15, 2012 9:06 a.m.
Boxing for Exercise
My gym has a number of heavy bags and classes, and I hit the bags every workout-surprised at how tough it was when I started years ago. Still can't hit the heavy bag longer than 15 minutes without being wiped out. I will stop in and check it out ASAP.— March 15, 2012 9:03 a.m.
Jamul Indians Cut Developer Ties, Revive Casino Plans
“Ultimately, the newly designed project will create jobs for its neighbors in the Jamul and Dulzura areas, allow the tribe to become self-sufficient, and enable it to share gaming revenue with local governments and charities,” the tribe said in a release. == That is the biggest BS self-serving pile of crap I have ever ehard.— March 14, 2012 9:17 p.m.
