City Notice Posted on Front Lawn Reveals Union-Tribune Seeking Condo, Office, and Retail Development Permits
I doubt any lender would lend money for a project like this based on future value. I would say is is very unlikely if at all. If he wanted to collateralize his other properties to cover the building costs, then MAYBE, but he would be putting his entire net worth up for grabs if the plan did not go as expected, and it wouldn't, no way do rich people put their own money into these speculative projects.— May 5, 2012 8:47 a.m.
Build a stadium and Chargers will stay? Nope.
We are one of the top 3 favorite Superbowl sites (as per Sports Illustrated) and if has been made very clear to city management by the NFL (and to the Spanos's, etc) that San Diego will NEVER host another Superbowl without a new stadium (Qualcomm redo's arnt enough); LOL...Yeah right Baby Einstein, TAXPAYERS (not you) will build a BILLION$$$$ dollar white elephant so the NFL can bring a Superbowl here once every 10-15 years. Dude, put your crack pipe down and take your lips off of Dean Spanos keister before you hurt yourself.— May 4, 2012 9:22 p.m.
City Notice Posted on Front Lawn Reveals Union-Tribune Seeking Condo, Office, and Retail Development Permits
LOL...yes, here is a huge need for condo development in So Cal, and nationwide. Same with office space. DOA, there is NO WAY any lender would lend money to build spec condos and office space, not for another 5-10 years. Unless Manchester is going to front the $200 million out of his own pocket-which will never happen- this is DOA.— May 4, 2012 8:12 p.m.
State Inmate Transfers - Realignment or "Prisoner Dumping?"
|“We would fail the citizens of our community and the victims of crime to follow the state's example and dump prisoners who have no jobs, are hooked on drugs, mentally ill, likely not rehabilitated, and equally likely to commit another crime onto our streets,” says Hilliard. Another law and order dork who doesn't knpw ot costs $50K per year to warehouse a prisoner for low level do nothing crimes. I wish dorks like Hilliard were STUCK paying all the cosst for these boondoggle scams.— May 4, 2012 4:07 p.m.

DMV Staffers Took Bribes and Provided False Licenses, Says U.S. Attorney
<b.Note that in recent years how the fees have increased while the service level plunges to new lows. This is true 100% of the time with monopolies, and DMV is one. This si why Cable TV, utilities, Gas and other products and commodities go sky hi while service goes down with ,mergers and oligarchies.— May 3, 2012 12:30 p.m.
Columnist Blames Lobbyists for Expanded Drone Use Authorization
The drones are lowering the cost of maintaining public safety and adding a safety factor to the operators. Bull%4#@. They are not lowering any costs.— May 3, 2012 12:23 p.m.
DMV Staffers Took Bribes and Provided False Licenses, Says U.S. Attorney
But Visduh is correct, these people are compensated FAR MORE than they ever would be in the private sector and there is no excuse for the taking of bribes except greed.— May 2, 2012 5:51 p.m.
DMV Staffers Took Bribes and Provided False Licenses, Says U.S. Attorney
