UCAN Likely to Get New Executive Director
Meyer is an iditot, he will screw up any global settlement, mark my words.— May 24, 2012 10:38 a.m.
Rumor: Manchester to Buy Register Thursday or Friday
OK, I am an Idool fan! I admit it. Those kids have talent and that is always interesting.— May 24, 2012 10:36 a.m.
Voter Survey: Smokers' Tax Losing Support, Brown Tax Proposal Remains Strong
I already voted- NO on 29. I also do not think for one second the sales/pension tax will pass. Remember the polls also said Arnolds tax hikes-1a-1g- would pass 3 years ago, they ALL failed spectacularly. I have said it before-I have $100 to all takers who think the sales tax will pass, it fails bigtime. Bring it on losers.— May 24, 2012 10:33 a.m.
More San Diego Homeowners Underwater
In 2007 I said we would be in this mess for 3-5 years, in 2010 I revised that to 5-10 years, and at this rate we could go more than a decade before all the underwater loans are cleared out-and that is because there has been no job creation, and it just doesn't look like the job situation will improve in the next 5 years. We have idiots on both sides running this country into the ground.— May 24, 2012 10:30 a.m.
San Diego: Another Day, Another Ponzi
<b>Says the judge, "Crime doesn't pay at your level." Best, Don Bauder</b> So true ;)— May 23, 2012 9:19 a.m.
San Diego U-T CEO Suggested Use of Paper's News Clout in Sign Dispute, City Emails Show
Love it how the Big $$ Boys get access to the elected officials no one else does. Call up Kevin and ask for a 10 minute face to face to go over a local issue and see how far YOU can get.— May 23, 2012 8:52 a.m.
Federal Election Commission Cites "Problems" with Filner 2012 Campaign Committee Disclosures
Filner has proposed NO PLAN to cure the Ponzi style public pensions that allow GED and HS educated government employees to retire as MILLIONAIRES at age 50. Don't know who told you about the 401K's, but that is what everyone in the real world receives, and they are being paid far less than gov employees. I would not vote for Filner on this issue alone, but that is just me. You can vote for him, and it sounds like you will based on his give away for public funds to public employees.— May 23, 2012 4:04 a.m.
San Diego: Another Day, Another Ponzi
<b>John Clement of Encinitas was sentenced today (May 22) to two years in custody for defrauding investors in his $4.9 million Ponzi scheme </b> He was facing 20 years, the US Attorney was recommending 4 years and this dirtbag loser who stole $ 5MILLION only gets 24 months, 21 months with good time custody credits, and he has already served 6 months so he will be out this time next year. J-O-K-E This is clearly why people are pissed off at our so called "justice system", stuff like this. I know people who have done more time on drunk driving/alcohol related charges.— May 23, 2012 3:59 a.m.
San Diego Unified's Efforts to Secure Administration Building
<b>"Our employees do not feel safe. That is the bottom line," wrote Stover in a May 17 email. "We have had physical altercations with intruders in the building and average one criminal type activity here a month. </b> Please name one, JUST ONE incident where an "intruder" hurt somone, or an employee was injured over a lack of security.— May 22, 2012 1:07 p.m.
Federal Election Commission Cites "Problems" with Filner 2012 Campaign Committee Disclosures
I like Filner, will never forget when he took Bush Senior to task as President over some issue I don't recall, but Bush Senior said he was going to make Filner his little project fo the next 4 years-I admire Filner for that. But Filner is a runner stamp for the public unions, and we will never recover with public unions ripping us off liek they have been.— May 22, 2012 11:59 a.m.
