UCAN head quits after 10 days; Langley out, too
Actually I would help you. Don, what is UCAN doing to try to stay afloat???? Do they have ANY income?? Could they continue with a skeleton crew of 4-5 at modest wages?? And when I say modest, like $25K per year?? Founder can be CEO, I will be COO, and Don can be Chairman of the Board from CO. BTW a CO appeals court just blocked that state from rolling back COLA's for retirees. A Stockton and Vallejo BK judge BOTH said that is OK in BK.— October 22, 2012 4:31 p.m.

Jury declares woman guilty of three DUI manslaughters
Three people killed. Over an idiot that drank large quantities of alcohol. 14 years is a GIFT. Less than 5 years for each person killed. I wonder if she will do half time or 85% of the 14 years, don't know, but the entire 14 years is too lenient when 3 people are dead as result of irresponsible drug use. I hope the relatives of the ones who died can get over this in time....you never really get over it but hopefully there will be some closure knowing the dirtbag is going to the can of a long time.— October 22, 2012 4:23 p.m.
Murdoch mulls buying LA Times, Chicago Tribune
Don, At least Murdocj has experience........I think after Papa Doug runs what was left of the UT into the ground, and BK's it, he may have other thoughts about buying more print media....— October 20, 2012 9:46 p.m.
SD unemployment drops, but job gains are slight
I question if even 10% are high tech....I guess it is possible, but not probable IMO. Take out way over price public sector jobs and the number drops exponentially.— October 20, 2012 7:40 p.m.

SD unemployment drops, but job gains are slight
The ONLY jobs this region produces, or 90%+, are low paying low tax base service sector jobs. San Diego USED to produce the "Patriot Missile" and a million other high dollar, high tax base products. Now it is hotel maid and janitor jobs.— October 20, 2012 10:25 a.m.
Disbarred attorney back in jail again

Local law school has one of worst employment records
Yes, adding in 3% per year to $300/year tuition, the costs have been going up at probably 3-4 times the rate of inflation.— October 20, 2012 10:13 a.m.
