Stucco worked well for the Mayas, built much of Rome, and covers San Diego
This thorough and well-written article reminds us of the charm of stucco. I love the part where it speaks of people looking for perfection. Most times a few imperfections add character to a house. We've repaired newer and older structures and as contractors we usually have to do what the customer wants. [See some of our work][1]. I also like the part where the article mentions the work done by hand. We know there are machines out there but certain steps like plastering or painting only have a great finish when done by hand. Hats off to the writer of this article written almost 25 years ago. I think I'll have a drink on December 1st to celebrate this article and our line of business.
