...Unable to find any Gladys Hardy in Austin or the surrounding areas, the newspaper speculated that the KLBJ radio morning show might be behind it all, since Hardy had made it on the air there also.Further evidence that Gladys might be a prank was found on her official website. The site's multiple references to a family member named "Scott" pointed to Scott Hardy, who had done voice work on Larry the Cable Guy's Christmastime in Larryland album, another Warner Bros. Nashville release.

Sober No Tweeker? Isn't it "Tweaker?" The thing is, I had not previously made mental connection between tweaking and carpet cleaning, but now that I have been invited to do so, it seems to me that I WOULD prefer to have tweakers git-r-done. Here's why: Dose tweakers move FAST when 'inspired,' and in the absence of a gig, they'd do it fuh free--think about it. If I didn't hire them to rake and comb my expanses of solewear, you can bet your last gram they'd be doing their own at home without recompense. "& I take great strides to ensure that you get not only the the best Carpet Cleaning in San Diego but also the healthiest. As you can see we also specialize in Tile & Grout" Ah, I BET he takes great strides, whereas tweakers would take little itsy bitsy steps, making sure every last centimeter of carpet fiber was covered with dirt-lifting foam. and speaking of chumming the waters... ...do they do Bile & Trout?— November 17, 2009 11:07 a.m.

Thanks for writing this, Ms. G! I have been told variously that one's mid to late thirties are the time to start screening, and not the time to start, and so have been too confused to initiate screening. Ok, so I loved the Gladys on first viewing (never watched Ellen before, so did not know of her), but then see all these posts saying it is fake. Apparently, "Gladys" is actually a male comedian, which deflates the experience a little, esp. knowing he did a CD as "Gladys," pushed on Ellen's show. The "Ken Lee" thing is hilari-mouse. I once did an experiment for a class in which I had people listen to something in English, then something in Berber, and had them write down what lyrics they really think they are hearing. Very similar to this :)— November 16, 2009 8:32 a.m.

Mmm, sounds delish. Re: Saving cats--I assumed Cuddle was in touch with the Feral Cat Coalition--they are the ones to contact about trapping/treating cats. I suck at such things, but found it pretty easy to learn some basics on a Web site my cousin and I set up. AG has some online savvy, and is a quick study. You can do it! Have a great day, Ms G ;)— November 16, 2009 7:42 a.m.
