Some guys are into women with no teeth. Not sure why that is, but I have heard of it. Makes my mind spin thinking of the possibilities!— November 20, 2009 1:08 a.m.
the TWILITE thingy
This just in!!! I am off the hook. She is indeed going with her friends on Saturday instead..whew. I dodged a bullet on that one; at least until part three comes out next summer!!! Though, she did tell me that the Jonas Brothers might be coming to San Diego in April of next year...Oh oh Great!— November 20, 2009 1:01 a.m.
The Biggest Loser. Is it Shawne Merriman, Levi, or Palin?
Actually more thoughtful than you think. Carter barely beat Ford as it was. It still remains one of the closest votes for Presidency. And it was none other than Bill Clinton who suggested that Carter won not because of pardoning Nixon, which is the going theory. Clinton attributed Carter's winning to Reagan's relentless attack on the so called 'moderate' Ford. The erosion caused by Reagan cost Ford. Clinton is a very smart person when it comes to looking back at past races. But whether Ford won or not isn't even the issue here. What is the issue is that the 'national' media branded Reagan a right-wing nutjob. No one gave him a chance after he lost the primary of 1976 to come back and win in 1980, but he did, and the rest, as they say, is history. Who would possibly think that Palin, a righ-wing nutjob could win in 2012. Well, who would have thought in 2004 that a black man would win in 2008? 2008 was Hillary's from the moment Bush got his second term. In politics, I have learned to never count anyone out this far away from an election cycle. As Yoda would say "the future is fluid". And in politics there is no greater fluid than...time. Wow, I should win an award with that analogy!!!— November 20, 2009 12:56 a.m.
Men and Babies
The greatest moment in my life, next to meeting William "God" Shatner was having a son. My son is so cool. Now that I have been seduced by the 'dark side' (having kids) I no longer get mad at parents when their kids run around Denny's like their on crystal meth. And despite what these women thing, we men do our fair share. After my son was born, and for a good two years, I was the one up with him, even when I had to get up at 3am to drive to san diego (I was in the navy in those days). How did I get through it all? My XBOX. I would sit him next to me in his doughnut pillow and go on line and play Tiger Wood's golf with a friend. Tip of the day; if you have a toddler that will not fall asleep? Put in the movie "STAR TREK THE MOTION PICTURE". Your kid will be out witn-in ten minutes!— November 19, 2009 9:15 p.m.
the TWILITE thingy
Daughters, especially 15 year old daughters, are so 'crazy'. I think Bill Cosby put it best when he said they are brain damaged. I think he was being easy on them. I vote we bring back the Chastity belts!!! (JUST kidding....well...maybe)— November 19, 2009 9:07 p.m.
the TWILITE thingy
Its more of the "since you made me watch Star Trek and Hawaii Five-0, its time for you to see something I like". I made this deal with my wife too, so now I have the first season of GREY's ANATOMY to look forward to this Christmas. Oh boy, i can't wait!— November 19, 2009 9:01 p.m.
The Biggest Loser. Is it Shawne Merriman, Levi, or Palin?
But...Barak will beat her. I had to add that.— November 19, 2009 7:34 p.m.
The Biggest Loser. Is it Shawne Merriman, Levi, or Palin?
And that is exactly what Bush (I) and Jack Kemp thought about Reagan. And with Palin already getting her base (white women from red states) all primed, she is, I think, ahead of any of her opponents. McCain won't run again. Jeb Bush's name is tarnished. Gingrich is damaged goods. Haley Barber will come off as a 'white racist red neck'. But more important? If Barak stays popular, some of the Repulicans will just stay on the sidelines until 2016 when Obama's second term is over, and Hillary is deemed, unfortunately, too old. Palin is the front runner right now in November 2009. In my opinion of course.— November 19, 2009 7:33 p.m.
The Biggest Loser. Is it Shawne Merriman, Levi, or Palin?
I think the Merriman story is far from over. If he ever tests positive again, and who knows he was dumb enough to do it once before, then this story will come back to life. This is far from over. Considering where they met and the atmosphere of that way of life, this story has the very appropriate: TO BE CONTINUED tag at the end. In 1976 Ford was President. Usually the sitting President doesn't face a challenge from his own party; well he did. The opponent was Reagan, who almost beat him. After Ford lost, and Carter won, Reagan was branded an 'idiot' and a 'nut job', and yet four years later he won, and then in 1984 won all but 1 state. Palin is appealing to the same base that Reagan did. If she can inspire these 'red states' she has a chance to do what 'nut job' Reagan did. I do not think President Obama is a shoe in to win in 2012. I actually voted for Hillary, and then for Barak in November, because I thought she was the better person to be President; I still do. According to recent CNN/CBS polls, not FOX polls, but CNN/CBS polls, Barak's support among so called 'Reagan Democrats' is starting to ebb. If this continues it will be problematic for Obama. whew..I should be on This Week With George Stpehaoplis!!!— November 19, 2009 4:57 p.m.
Naked Thumb Suckers
LOL...my wife delivers the BJ if I set through the latest chic flic, so they have their downs, and UPS, if you know what I mean. I am surprised at how much I am enjoying these old FIVE-0 episodes. McGarrett puts all these CSI dudes to shame.— November 19, 2009 2:55 p.m.
