More Betrayal By Todd Gloria
What else can you expect when you look at the people that surround Mr. Gloria. When a politician associates himself with the likes of Mr/Ms Robert/Nicole Murray-Ramirez (the self appointed GLBT community leader with the over inflated ego)and his/her/it's wealthy republican cronies that backed the infamous hate mailer know as "Clawgate" one can only expect the worst.— March 14, 2009 1:52 p.m.
Juries and Court Cases
I find it a ridiculous law that needs to be revised so we can stop wasting time and money tying up our courts by those that want to earn an easy buck. Shouldn't the time and money be spent helping those that have truly been harassed? Shouldn't the culprits of this harassment be sought out and not blame the city leaving the taxpayers to foot the bill? Why not review comments made by Mr/Ms Nicole Murray? Perhaps her insults coming over the microphone during the parade instigated the behavior the fire fighters were subjected to.— February 21, 2009 1:20 a.m.
Juries and Court Cases
I don't think the firefighters were threatened at all and agree that they were looking for an easy payoff. Their lawsuit is totally ridiculous. based on their thinking I should be able to sue the city any time I've been called names while walking down the street in my own neighborhood or waste the courts time and money suing an employer whenever a customer or coworker has made an unfavorable comment toward me. This lawsuit has shown how frivolous and selfish some people can be looking for the easy way to earn a buck. I feel our courts have more important cases to try and our city has better ways to spend it's money. If you don't agree with the task that an employer asks you to do, you can always look for another job.— February 20, 2009 3:35 p.m.
Juries and Court Cases
I find it an embarrassment that these macho men were so threatened by a group of gay men that they had to bring shame upon the many heroes that serve as firefighters throughout the country. This case has also put San Diego into an unflattering light. I have to wonder what part the so-called community leader Nicole Murray played in this case. Mr/Ms Murray has continually shown inappropriate behavior while emceeing many community events putting the GLBT community as well as Hillcrest in the most unflattering of lights. When having him/she/it represent a community in doesn't open the doors to understanding and acceptance it closes them and will eventually lock them. I think it is this type of misdirected leadership that needs to be held accountable to help avoid and further embarrassment the city of San Diego.— February 20, 2009 1:16 p.m.
