Give me the pills and nobody gets hurt
For one thing, Colloidal Silver, when made properly does NOT cause anyone to "turn blue." But for another, your idea is pretty good, as far as giving the robbers something else. Why not a powerful laxative?— April 1, 2015 9:05 p.m.
Faulconer’s costly PR jaunt snared on CNBC’s line
Maybe one of Faulconer's kid's pet guinea pigs. They aren't allowed to have REAL pets, like a dog or cat.— March 21, 2015 12:15 p.m.
Who’s minding San Diego’s council districts?
So nice how our city government leaders have MORE than enough time AND our money to make those obnoxious video of themselves, though.— March 10, 2015 5:18 p.m.
San Diego, mortgage hot spot
Believe or not, many years ago (after 10+ yrs of employment at the same job & purchasing cars and a condo while single) when I tried to apply for a credit card with MY own crappy, FORMER credit union, I was denied. Unless my useless, (shaky credit, sketchy work history) now ex-husband was willing to co-sign.— February 10, 2015 1:34 p.m.
Death by bathroom door?
And so many times, although the evidence is THERE, it's not allowed to be considered.— January 27, 2015 3:19 p.m.
Appellate court weighs grisly pit bull death scene
I consider the slobs who refuse to pick up their dog's excrement while walking them, to be more of a health concern, than stray cat's defecating in my yard. As far as songbirds go, rats (which cats also kill, thank you very much) probably kill just as many, if not more. I've even heard rats raiding bird's nests, in the middle of the night outside of my window, during the summertime. I personally own 1 indoor only cat and 3 small dogs. (And also feed the cats that my low-life neighbor's abandoned, a year ago).— January 6, 2015 6:57 p.m.
Life on minimum wage at City Heights Burger King – for family of six
I personally think the current unemployment problem, in our country, was caused by the knuckleheads/elected officials, who thought it was such a terrific idea to allow so many jobs to go overseas. AND, the reference to the "men with East African accents," in the article also reminded me, WHOSE brilliant idea was it to bring all of these unskilled foreigners over and put them on public assistance, courtesy of the taxpayers??— December 17, 2014 4:21 p.m.
Suit charges ex-cop forced man to perform sexual act
There ARE a boatload of transgender prostitutes on El Cajon Blvd. (Didn't The Reader even have a story on them, once?) I got the impression that this plaintiff was one.— December 14, 2014 10:37 a.m.
Walmart protest a call to unionize
I agree. It IS their money. And they have so much of it thanks to taxpayers supporting their workers. I'm glad to read that they aren't as greedy as I thought.— November 30, 2014 11:01 p.m.
Walmart protest a call to unionize
Does anyone even know what those GREEDY Waltons do with all of their money? I've read report after report, of the austere lifestyle they all live. It seems even more obscene to me than flaunting it, if the money isn't going to do any good in this world...— November 30, 2014 4:05 p.m.
