Ken Falls Hard
I think that Cygnet is single-handedly employing all the fabulous local actors in San Diego - great cast— October 7, 2009 4:23 p.m.

I can hear all the music as I read the article - fabulousness and kudos all around - pretty cool— October 7, 2009 4:17 p.m.
Unforgettable: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Dare Part 3
as always, a great story with compelling characters, fabulous and fun detail of historical places as well as the main story - what a blast this series was -- one of my favorites so far-— August 26, 2009 9:09 p.m.
Unforgettable: A Walk on the Stingaree Side, Part 3
I loved this particular series in the 'Unforgettable' tome -- the subject matter was sort of frightening considering what all is going on with crime, gangs, and drug wars today -- but at the same time -- fascinating -- and the history of the diversity of this town comes out in such a casual way -- you'd never have guessed that San Diego was made up this way from the beginning of Time, it would seem -- sort of gives me hope for humanity as well as San Diego -- Mr. Smith continues to entertain, teach and give us a sense of our own history with each of his Unforgettable series -- it's a great column and I'm so glad that the Reader gives us a chance to see this side of his writing -- just great --— July 16, 2009 10:35 p.m.
Mind and Hand Together
Jeff Smith is one of the most prolific and fabulous writers of OUR time -- each time he writes one of these articles, whether it's about Shakespeare, or a contemporary writer or actor, etc.-- it's like a history lesson, acting lesson and life lesson all rolled into one. Same goes for his reviews -- the guy amazes -- AND his other series about San Diego history is like a great travelogue through time - always written in a way that brings you right into the subject - as if you were in the room watching the event or a great interview with the person instead of reading about it -- he makes it all come alive!— June 12, 2009 5:45 p.m.
