Obama taps Alan Bersin to oversee the border
With the exception of our armed fores, everything else you mentioned, needs to be disbanded.— November 20, 2009 3:33 p.m.

BINGO!!!! It's why I quit watching so much TV. If the internet was as widely available now as when I was growing up, I'd be a much better human. I was a couch potato and proud back then. I'm not saying I regret it. There was some pretty decent TV back then. Not like today's TV. I think given the choice though back then, I would've eschewed the idiot box for the world encyclopedia I use today. The internet as a medium is so much better than TV. Back then or now.— November 20, 2009 2:36 p.m.
The Biggest Loser. Is it Shawne Merriman, Levi, or Palin?
I see what you mean but let's disect that a bit. American Idol? REALLY? You like a show that promotes laziness? Since the beginning of the history of music, ALL bands/singers had to work their balls off to get noticed. I'm not talking about good bands/singers Vs. bad bands/singers either. I mean EVERYONE got discovered at one point after working hard. My roommates watch that horrendously exploitive America's Got Talent. One goes on YT everynight and listens to that Susan Boyle bitch. I'm not saying she's good or bad-that's for the public to decide. I'm talking about her working in some dive bar in Ireland or Scotland and having people tell her, "Ya know, Susan....you're a great singer. Why not try and get discovered?" and her telling them, "Ya know....I'm not that good." and then voila!!!! She's Britain s best kept secret. I'm supposed to love this lazy, fat sack of nasty JUST because someone discovered her and she didn't work hard for it? F*** that!!!! Same thing with Taylor Swift. She gets accolades for her singing when everyone knows she couldn't carry a tune in a bucket without all that fancy recording equipment. She's not even a country artist for Chist's sake! As a music lover and music purist, I'm appaled at the s*** that passes for music nowdays. Don't get me wrong-my love for Slayer is another man's hatred of all things death metal but that doesn't mean Slayer didn't work hard to get where they are. We live in one of the most disposable societies man has ever seen. Our media shows it. When people start asking me what I think of John & Kate I tell them point blank-I think those kids should be murdered. As heinous as that sounds and I don't really mean it, it gets my point across. Don't ask me what I think about fluf. There's WAAAAAAAAAAAY too much fluff in today's world. Look at Twilite for example. Grown adults shouldn't be worried about some piece of s*** movie that's outlived it's 15 seconds of fame. We had The Lost Boys and The Howling. They were decent for their time period. Same thing with any"epic" movie or series. The word epic itself has become synonymous with fluff. I'm not a fan of Star Trek or Star Wars but in the overall grand scheme of things, these were epic films. Star Trek was even pumped yet again for money awhile back for it's money. Did we REALLY need a re-make of it? Hell no. What is wrong with the next generation that requires them to think theirs is better than ours. And what is wrong with our generation for thinking that very same thing?— November 20, 2009 2:30 p.m.

Good point. Maybe I'm being hard on her overall but I tend to think she contributes alot to the dumbing down of the world.— November 20, 2009 2:13 p.m.

I too, like how she supports reading in general but she's f***ed up a couple of times doing fact checking regarding her authors. She's a HUGE exploiter of anything controversial.— November 20, 2009 1:53 p.m.
The Biggest Loser. Is it Shawne Merriman, Levi, or Palin?
There's ALOT of America that has no sense of good music? Although I do like the song "Loud".— November 20, 2009 1:49 p.m.
It's Better To Burn Out Than It Is To Fade
LMAO!!! You actually censored the word wanker? AAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA! What a f***in' prude!— November 20, 2009 1:44 p.m.
The Oprah Brouhaha
F*** that fat, ghetto exploiter!!!! Her "charity" is just to get more bored housewives to subscribe to the cult of O. And if that DJ got his license pulled for simply telling not to go to a certain business, it's just one more reason why need to get rid of the FCC.— November 20, 2009 1:02 p.m.
The Biggest Loser. Is it Shawne Merriman, Levi, or Palin?
"Palin becoming president would be solid evidence the dumbing down of America has reached terminal velocity." VERY well put Ponzi.— November 20, 2009 12:23 p.m.
San Diego Coalition of Reason
Yeah....yeah you do. I HATE Wal-Mart. I stay away from there like a hemophiliactic leper in an AIDS ward but there's something so assbackwards about their brand of Americana.— November 20, 2009 8:43 a.m.
