They'll do a hell of a job trying to stop him. I'm not sure who I picked in that game. I'll check tomorrow. The stock markets open up in a few hours and I need a catnap.— September 24, 2009 1:39 a.m.
C is for Cookie
1-I thought Girl Scout Thin Mints were still going without the trans-fats we all love so dearly. Maybe they're one of the few companies that saw the error of their ways... 2-I've never had a Snickerdoodle. Sounds like something my mother would ask if I farted loud. 3-I HATE nuts or oatmeal in my cookies. My grandmother made a mean peanut butter drop cookie with the fork lines though. 4-Nutter Butters are the s*iiiiiiiiiiiiit! 5-Double Stuf Oreos are God's gift to fat tubs of lard such as myself. 6-Chips Ahoy are great for dunking in beer. Yes,you read that correctly. Try it sometime. You'll thank me later. 7-Famous Amos and Mrs.Fields are about the same. It's like the difference between Wetzel's Pretzel's and Aunt Annie's. 8-Grandma's cookies are still around. Frito-Lay makes 'em. 9-When you speak of Animal Cookies,do you mean these? http://motherscookies.com/ Those frosted Circus Animal cookies give me a raging hard on everytime. 10-I'm a mint freak. What do you think about Keebler's Grasshopper cookies?— September 24, 2009 1:36 a.m.

I'll take AP or LT anyday but to say that there's no team in the NFL that can't contain AP is absurd. I'm REALLY tired right now and can't really think of any off the top of my head but I KNOW there's a team that can stop AP. Or if not, slow him down.— September 24, 2009 1:22 a.m.

What I'm saying is:Pay attention. You thought you were doing all of humanity a service by policing the grammar of The Reader's authors but you really weren't. I have a cookie,a trophy and a Bozo Button. Which would you like? Or would you prefer the handsome gold star?— September 24, 2009 1:10 a.m.

Atta boy Jihad-er jhutt. I appreciate your overwhelming enthusiasm regarding our lexicon as a lover of said lexicon, but you dropped the ball on that one. Maybe. I could be wrong and a condescending prick but we'll get the final call from our fearless linejudge, refriedgringo.— September 24, 2009 1:08 a.m.
My husband is slowly falling in love with San Diego
You THOUGHT you brought up an intricacy but you really didn't. As for polesmoking,if you have to ask,you either wouldn't understand or you need to get out more. I'll give you a quick example-yesterday my roommates and I were in Esco looking at an empty house because we're moving soon. The 4 of us were on the side of the house looking at a koi pond. There are two fences about a foot away from me. One is a wrought iron fence and the other is a taller, wooden fence. These two teenagers ride by on bikes. I couldn't see through the wood fence but I could see them through the iron fence. Just as I'm getting ready to flick my cigarette butt into the street this thought occurs to me"What if there's someone on the other side of that fence about to appear?". I flicked my cigarette about 5 feet above the top of the iron fence just as a kid about 7 years old comes flying out of nowhere on a skateboard. Had I not thought about the reaction of my action, that kid would've had a really hot cigarette suddenly hit him in the face. That would not have been cool. I'll be the first to admit that I have my blonde moments but they are few and far between. I am CONSTANTLY,from awakening till the time I sleep, thinking about what I'll do or say next. Absentmindedness is a miniscule part of my lexicon.— September 24, 2009 1:02 a.m.
