Them Other Humans!
Yeah. Before and after dinner I packed 3 LARGE boxes of my stuff. Half is clothes. I didn't bring much when the Greyhound dropped me off in Esco in July of '05 and I haven't bought much stuff since. I'm a simple man. The other day I packed up about 9 or 10 LARGE boxes of stuff from the kitchen, the pantry and the laundry shelves. My GF has about 15 LARGE boxes of clothes and other crap she never wears or uses. Her husband has about 5 or 6 LARGE boxes to pack up. Her mother has about 8-10 MEDIUM boxes in her closet packed up. I need to help her pack her music books up tomorrow. Then there's the furniture-3 beds, 4 large cabinets, the computer desk, the dining room table, about 10 chairs, an electric piano, dressers....THE S*** NEVER ENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!! And my GF's and her husband's response to me packing two days ago? "Why ya packin' so early?"— November 18, 2009 10:06 p.m.

"The issue is with humans and our inane need for more "things," clones or shoes or even drugs. It's as if we have a gene in our system that begs for more even though there's enough." I'm moving to Esco on the 28th so I'm busy packing up the house. My GF is a crafter/crocheter. LOTS of crap that needs to be boxed up. Her mother is addicted to QVC. She fancies herself a cook and has about $2,000 worth of pointless, inanr cooking gadgets and cookware. Today alone I boxed up 8 LARGE boxes of nothing but Pots, pans, skillets, roasters, George Forman grills, nearly 75 pieces of Lock'n'Lock,etc,etc. She's 81 and grunts and groans like she's dying everytime she leaves her room. It's ridulous. When she dies, there is going to be one hell of a QVC garage sale. EVERYTHING WILL GO! She bought a brand new steamer for kitchens and bathrooms. That wasn't good enough even though she never used it. 3 weeks later she bought a better steamer. That was 4 months ago. I've never seen her use it.— November 18, 2009 9:40 p.m.
