Sweetwater board meeting times may change
Isn't it required for the board to have a discussion if they plan to change the next meeting time?— January 26, 2013 8 p.m.
Posada celebration at Friendship Park draws a crowd
So you can get a permit and pay a fee to have people drive to the parking lot, but the state will not open the park on the weekends, as it is supposed to, because the roads are "impassable?" The fact is the state has kept those gates closed since mid October. They need to open that park to the public! The fake reason that the roads are impassable is just another lame excuse. I've tried contacting the parks superintendent, Clay Phillips, on several occasions via email, but I never receive an email reply back. I've tried calling his phone number directly, but his voicemail is always full. The park has only been open about 32 days this year, which is a joke.— December 11, 2012 6:12 p.m.
Out with the old...
For the last two years it has been a "united" 3-2 vote of ridiculousness. I'm looking forward to the change.— December 9, 2012 7:34 p.m.
Out with the old...
sorry, Susan, I was going by the quote you posted. Is that not the transcript?— December 9, 2012 7:33 p.m.
Federal government settles border land lawsuit with county and state
right. Land next to the busiest border crossing in the world, next to the Pacific Ocean and in an ideal climate should not have a value, is that what you are saying? The Fed's got a great deal, get over it.— December 9, 2012 7:29 p.m.
Mayor Cox Cozy with Chula Vista Developer
perhaps you are misinformed as well— December 9, 2012 7:20 p.m.

Mayor Cox Cozy with Chula Vista Developer
I don't believe Cox and Pieri are political allies. At least, I don't believe they have been since Cox ran against Padilla for Mayor in 2006. I would like to see all the money disbursed through the CV Redevelopment Department and what projects most benefitted from it.— November 26, 2012 11:56 a.m.
Chula Vista Ethics Meeting Draws Mayor and Three Police
sour grapes comes to mind Bob— November 18, 2012 6:26 a.m.
