Why Encinitas wants to ditch Sunset High
Names of places form an important part of our history as a community. As a 1987 graduate of Sunset High School and former employee, the name Sunset High School stands as a memorial to this incredible school where student's lives were turned around and where the system did not fail us but gave us an opportunity to achieve our goals. I would not be where I am today as a successful business owner if it were not for Sunset High School. The name is iconic and beloved and should not be forgotten. Keep the name! Aloha!— September 10, 2019 10:29 p.m.
