City will indemnify resigning Filner, with some hedges
The issue for all San Diego women is not one publication, including the Reader, is reporting the reality about the nightmare women in San Diego routinely, face. Last week Judge Jacqueline Stern tossed an 11-1 jury verdict in a police sexual harassment case, against Oceanside Police Department, (OPD earlier was successfully sued for the exact same thing...and Oceaside's City Attorney lobbied for and received a confidential settlement so Oceanside's tax payers wouldn't know how much they were on the hook.) In another case, San Diego Police officer was convicted of stalking a female officer, another Female San Diego judge, Judge Lisa Schall-Guy refused to grant the frightened female police officer a restraining order. More bad news. The stalker was an "Officer of the Year." Try finding THAT in any SD media, including The Reader. All this can be verified at www.SanDiegoJudges.com. In closing, San Diego remains a misogynist's dream. All San Diego Media is owned by rich white guys not interested in women; period.— August 24, 2013 8:06 a.m.
