Faulconer moves to privatize city email archive
" Estimated size of the Office 365 archive is 1 [terabyte] as of May 30, 2014." As if that were some huge amount of storage. City of San Diego to purge year-old emails
I never understood how the County of SD gets away with purging after 60 days. Using personal accounts to conceal conduct of government business is illegal. Gov Scott Walker of Wisconsin is currently being investigated for having a private internet router in his office while he was Milwaukee County Executive, Chris Christie is having similar problems.— March 1, 2014 12:31 p.m.

Dean in UCSD money "laundering" case to step down
He ought to be going to jail. Anyone stupid enough to put into writing that he wants to engage in money laundering with public funds does not deserve to continue working at the university..— February 18, 2014 9:21 p.m.
Employers squeezing employees' 401 (k) plans
When 401's first came out I think the max contribution was $2k per year. Since I was only making about 10k at the time it was not feasible to put 20% of my gross income into a pot that I could not afford— February 16, 2014 3:49 p.m.
