Faulconer vacation rentals voted down —UPDATED
Once again Jan Goldsmith shows the slime ball he is.— July 18, 2018 6:58 a.m.
Expensive kick
Just another worthless piece of human garbage.— July 18, 2018 6:54 a.m.
The mother-in-law alibi
J.R. Gamble should pick another person to be the "poster person" than Kellen Jr. His arrest, make that arrests, were not about an innocent person "looking for a home". I am sure that there are plenty of well known and not well known Black people who have been unjustly accused of actions or crimes based on their color that deserve to have Gamble champion their cause.— July 17, 2018 6:58 a.m.
Faulconer vacation rentals voted down —UPDATED
No matter what is passed the one thing you can count on is that any enforcement of any regulations by the SDPD or the City will be tepid at best. The PD has neither the budget or manpower to police the nightmare of short term rentals. The City cares little about quality of life code enforcement.— July 17, 2018 6:51 a.m.
Popular Oceanside ex-mayor keeps counsel
That being the case then Wood should stay neutral.— July 16, 2018 6:46 a.m.
Tom Metzger has moved to San Jacinto
I attended a meeting with Tom Metzger and a number of his "staff" at a home in El Cajon back in the 80's. Tom was well spoken and leadership skills. The people at the meeting were middle class blue collar workers with only high school education. None of them could articulate why they hated "other" people other than "they" were not like them. The KKK was a combination of white supremacy and Christian religion. The saddest part of all this is that Tom Metzger could have used his leadership skills for good but chose evil. At 80 he must be frustrated that all of his work has been for naught. I am sure he loves Trump but he will again be disappointed. (No I was not a member of the KKK but was embedded by an agency that shall remain unnamed)— July 14, 2018 6:33 a.m.
Testing surges again at corporations
I have known many people who are great test takers but can't do the job. An example: Police recruit "A" aces all the physical and mental tests. Recruit "B" is pretty much Joe Average. Both graduate and "hit the streets". Recruit "A" just can't do the job. Doesn't have what it takes to survive and thrive on the streets. Recruit "B" has what it takes and succeeds. While testing can be indicative it is not the end-all-be-all of deciding who will be successful and who will not. Not everyone who graduates from West Point is a leader. Everyone who graduates from truck driving school can drive a truck.— July 9, 2018 4:56 p.m.
A well-timed contribution of special interest
Follow the money and you will find the owner-operator of the politician.— July 9, 2018 7:16 a.m.
San Diego third best recreation city
I understand the popularity of Florida. Most of the transplants there are from the northeast and they think oppressive humidity is normal they are escaping the winters.— July 9, 2018 7:15 a.m.
San Diego third best recreation city
