Do you really aspire to live in Rancho Santa Fe?
Most of the residents crave privacy and are isolated from others on their estates. There is little social contact unless you want to get involved with RSF Foundation et. al. Most of the well know residents are active outside the community of RSF.— January 8, 2018 6:19 a.m.
Community garden to grow in National City
National City has always been a slum and will always be a slum.— January 7, 2018 7:23 a.m.

Union-Tribune to fold its operation into the Los Angeles Times?
Yesterdays news today! It was just a few years ago that 90% of the residents in my condo complex got the UT. Now one gets the paper and one gets the Sunday edition.— January 6, 2018 6:57 a.m.
Signs of confusion at deadly O.B. corner
The City of San Diego suffers from what all cities suffer from and that is a lack of common sense.— January 4, 2018 8:48 a.m.
San Ysidro School District sued (again)
None of the high paid school administrators are worth anywhere near what school districts pay them. They are nothing more than highly paid figureheads. Their staff do all the work and they take all the credit and pay. Teachers struggle to provide school supplies to their students while these fat cats collect huge salaries and severance packages no matter how bad or corrupt they are.— January 2, 2018 8:55 a.m.
Bank-card skimmers enjoy the high season
Never use a debit card. With a debit card your money is gone and you have to fight with the bank to get your money back. With a credit card your money remains in the bank while you dispute the charge.— January 2, 2018 8:47 a.m.
Taxpayers hosed by city airport vendor
If the contract with the City did not include paying for water then how is the vendor in violation of anything if he was following the terms of the contract and was using the water in accordance with that contract? Nothing in the article indicates that the vendor was doing anything other than providing service within the confines of the contract. If there is any fault or wrongdoing here it is with the City administration for not addressing the fire hydrant use provisions when they let the bid. The vendor should not be held liable for complying with the contract.— January 2, 2018 8:45 a.m.
Sempra’s marital conflicts
No one in City government that has any decision making authority should be allowed to have a close relationship with anyone within the SDG&E management. Both the City government and the SDG&E management are corrupt to the core.— December 29, 2017 7:17 a.m.
