John T. Griffith
John T. Griffith was born in Oceanside, and is a Vietnam War-era, U.S. Army MP veteran, and former CHP Officer. He has always had a passion for history, especially for the people, events and interests in San Diego County. Griffith is a professional musician who has shared the stage with many named artists, a vintage guitar expert who has contributed and cowritten for many vintage guitar books and articles in magazines about the subject, and a photographer, writer, and historian. Griffith and his wife, Mary, have a Dachshund named Timmy, and they reside in Vista.
