Ms. Luzzaro :

I am thinking I might contact The READER and schedule that lunch off line.

Perhaps we could go to Bacci's and get some lobster, that is still kicking. To accompany the meal I might stop by BevMO and order a bottle of fine wine to accompany our fine meal; while we are at Bacci's it might be fun to look at some jewelry. Are the Padres at home next week? We could then end the interview in a box seat. Oh what fun we could have - and all at my expense - no tax payer monies used.

Anyone notice that Kim Jong has been silent in North Korea since......you guessed it John McCann was deployed over there...coincidence? I think not

timtim, I think you may be on to something here, McCann finally has someone he sees eye to eye with while standing up.... both in stature and in retorical, hysterical, threats and BS....

They could be long lost twin brothers even in hair style, I can't wait for the next "Team America" puppet film _ perhaps "Team Sweetwater"? I'd include some dialog but if you've seen the original, it would not be fit to print.

Hey go take a nap when your wife's family (the relatives) come to visit....pretty much the same when you sit on the dias at Board meetings...

Sweetwater trustee reports stolen property to police

John McCann wanted his campaign sign back

The Sweetwater Union High School District’s June 18 meeting had unexpected guests: Kamaal Martin from state-assembly member Shirley Weber’s office, Vivian Moreno from San Diego city councilmember David Alvarez’s office, and Albert Velasquez, a field ...

We are now into August of 2013 - the trials scheduled for February of 2014. The next board elections are in 2014 - seats up for grabs Jim Cartmill, Arlie Ricasa and John McCann.

One way or another the movement to return integrity to SUHSD will be won or lost in the next 15 months. Why am I raising this as a talking point - the Eastlakers, the bbq's, the oskidoll's and LaLucha's - the erupting s, the angrybirds, and joepublics - the Visduh's, the Julain Asange's, and Reader2's and many many more of you who read need to prepare to vet quality candidates that WE WILL ELECT to serve the students and taxpayers.

We will not let the Burt spoilers attempt to sabotage our elections by splitting the vote. By entering the race and failing to show up at the community forums to identify their intentions for positive growth.

Groups continue to form - some large some small - have you formed or joined one? Educating our village (south Bay) that is the mission.

15 short months folks, just 15 months!!!!!!!!

Bye bye Ed Brand!!!!!!!!!

anniej Aug. 12, 2013 @ 9 a.m.

eastlaker - it is clearly apparent that the community has had it with the lack of management at SUHSD. There is no effort being out in by Ed Brand into focusing on the ills of our district, alas, he is far toooo busy out there at Chambers of Commerce pedaling his pet projects.

MELLO ROOS monies borrowed - are they paying back on Monday and then borrowing more on Tuesday?

Funds for Education - scandal

Open boundaries - total chaos

IPADS - continuing problems

2012 elections - alleged involvement

Secret resignation - holding out for signed contract - but don't tell the taxpayers

Breaking away from CIF - failure

BOC candidate selection involvement - hmmm thought he was going to stay out of it

L STREET fiasco - still waiting to see that presentation on the millions lost

Proposed property purchase for new District office - taxpayers blew that one up

Alliant University deal - Brands idea signed by McCann WITHOUT proper permits

Grand Canyon University - failed deal, guess he forgot about church and state.

Campaign contribution limits - changed the bylaws to get that monkey off his back

There are more but the point is BOARD MEMBERS:

Have I done a good enough job in reminding you of how poor a job he has done? So,,,, next week instead of evaluating his performance FIRE HIM!

OOTT, With Mayor Cox soon to be Former Mayor Cox, is she bucking to become the next Superintendent? The timing does not quite line up... Ed's contract in Oct, Elections in November and mayorhood ending in Dec?

While I firmly agree that new Leadership is needed, I am not in favor of South Bay Political Musical Chairs. We have seen too much cronyism, strange deals, nepotism and dare I say incest within our political arena.

New leadership is needed weather it's at Sweetwater or the local City Councils, Definition of an Idiot is doing the samething over and over and expecting a different result. Time for change.
