Thee Sacred Souls
Alex Garcia and Sal Samano (formerly of Fake Tides) began cutting bedroom demos of rhythm tracks together in 2019. Both multi-instrumentals, Alex migrated from the guitar to the drums, while Sal learned bass. The duo used Instagram to recruit City Heights singer Josh Lane, a former Sacramento music student who relocated to San Diego in 2017, to form soul-inspired trio Thee Sacred Souls (their name a partial nod to Chicano rock heroes Thee Midniters). After their first club date, they were signed by Daptone Records producer and co-founder Bosco Mann (Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings), and were soon working at Mann’s Riverside studio recording tracks like “Call I Call You Rose?” which went on to top a million online plays. To promote last year’s Got A Story To Tell album, they performed its single "Lucid Girl" on the Jimmy Kimmel Live late night television show.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Three 6 Mafia
Formed in Cleveland, Ohio circa 1991, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is known for fused rapid-fire rapping with melodic harmonies, a distinctive sound that helped set them apart from the East Coast and West Coast groups of the early ‘90s. Discovered by and signed to Eazy-E's Ruthless Records, they went on to score socially conscious and occasionally Grammy-winning hits such as "Tha Crossroads" and "1st of tha Month," which explored themes of hardship, family, and spirituality. They recorded several charting collaborations with hip-hop icons like the Notorious B.I.G., Eazy-E, and the late Tupac Shakur. Openers Three 6 Mafia, pioneers of horrorcore and Memphis rap, won an Academy Award for their atmospheric track "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp," from the film Hustle & Flow. The bill includes speed rapper Tech N9ne and a set by DJ Quik.

Dream Theater
Formed at the Berklee College of Music, Dream Theater helped define the prog metal genre with their technical instrumental skill, layering intricate instrumental solos with complex arrangements and an overall epic and a guitar-heavy sound courtesy of guitarist John Petrucci. They became known for concept albums such as Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From a Memory, as well as for lengthy concerts where improv sections and guitar solos have been known to extend up to an hour. An Evening With Dream Theater will celebrate the band’s recent sixteenth studio album, Parasomnia. The band will be performing the record in its entirety, as well as classics and fan favorites from their catalog.
