Anime 619a fan convention aimed at anime fans, happened November 22-23 at the San Diego Convention Center. It competed directly with San Diego Anime Con, which took place November 21-23 at the Handlery Hotel in Mission Valley.

The downtown event included an exhibitor and vendor hall, where a wide range of memorabilia was available, from clothing to models, DVDs, toys, books, magazines, video games, role playing games, and an endless array of comic books and, for some reason, cats.

There were also celebrity appearances from trending shows like Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, and Attack on Titan, panels and workshops, and opportunities to display, view, and purchase original hand-drawn artwork, as well as posters and prints.

And of course there were many cosplayers, with franchises like Dragon Ball Z well represented.

Demon Slayer was also a popular source of cosplay inspiration.

It wouldn't be much of an anime convention without at least one Ultraman showing up.

Vergil from the Devil May Cry video games is a half-human, half-demon hybrid and the son of the demon Sparda and human Eva. .

The manga and anime series InuYasha concerns a half-demon, half-human from feudal Japan with a dog demon for a father and a human mother.
