Every film screened at the GI Film Festival is made for, by, or about service members and veterans. The Festival aims to shed light on issues such as transitioning back to civilian life, post-traumatic stress, and resilience. The 16 entries selected for this year's festival include three feature length films and 13 shorts, tackling topics from the Global War on Terror and the fall of Afghanistan, to training in peacetime and the stories of deported vets.

Vegan Festival At Waterfront Park
Attendees can enjoy free entry and more than 75 exhibitors, such as Down to Ferment, Dylan’s Pet Food, La Boocha Kombucha, Maya’s Cookies, Flavors of East Africa, and Shmackin Noodz Vegan Mac & Cheese. There will be goods and information booths from local rescues and businesses demonstrating the vegan lifestyle.

Native singers, drummers, and dancers from throughout the Southwest will gather to practice their traditions in San Diego's premier park. Experience Kumeyaay bird singing, gourd dancing, and inter-tribal dancing. There will be local vendors and food booths serving Native foods, including fry bread. Artists will offer hand-crafted jewelry, clothes, and blankets for sale. Saturday’s honoring will be dedicated to the United States Military, and Sunday’s honoring will be dedicated to all the mothers in celebration of Mother’s Day.

The Coronado Historical Association is a non-profit founded in 1969 to document Coronado’s history, art, architecture, and historical resources.
