Horticultural Tours: Botanical Building
Balboa Park’s Botanical Building has been completely restored to its original 1915 appearance. Join a guided tour to learn about the history of the building and view a collection of over 1000 plants, representing more than 180 species from subtropical and tropical environments around the world. This 90-minutes walk will be led by park volunteer and horticultural enthusiast Bill Edwards.

Immerse yourself in an installation experience featuring zones inspired by fairytales, such as a moonlit garden of soulmates, a swan‑filled lake, and a castle corridor. John’s Adrenaline Circus will host performances with motorcyclists, BMX riders, aerialists, acrobats, jugglers, clowns and the “globe of death." Guests can explore infinity mirror rooms, themed photo boxes with glowing moons and swings, laser mazes, and illuminated spheres.

Post-grunge rock band Creed has sold over 53 million albums worldwide since forming in Tallahassee in 1994. They were the ninth best-selling musical act of the 2000s. During the Texas Rangers' run to winning the World Series in 2023, the players regularly used Creed’s “Higher” as motivation, causing the band’s streaming numbers shoot up for the first time in years. Creed has since seen a major resurgence in popularity, especially their hit “One Last Breath,” which recently became popular on TikTok. The band is touring with Mammoth WVH and Daughtry as part of their Summer of ‘99 Tour.
