The Band Feel

The Band Feel is a rock band from St. Louis known for a sound influenced by '70s rock, Laurel Canyon, and mid-century jazz. The band’s sophomore EP Into The Sun was produced by the five-time Grammy-nominated producer Paul Moak. whose notable credits include work with Dolly Parton and Blake Shelton.

La Jolla Art Walk: Bastille Day Celebration

Celebrate Bastille Day — after maybe looking up exactly what Bastille Day is — at La Jolla’s monthly free art walk. Enjoy free admission to The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, live French music, art-infused fashion from fashion week San Diego designers, themed treats, and gallery exhibits throughout the Village.

San Diego Fixit Clinic

Zero Waste San Diego is hosting a fixit clinic! Bring your broken, non-functioning things (electronics, appliances, computers, toys, bicycles, or clothes) for assessment, disassembly, and possible repair. They will provide work space, specialty tools, and guidance to help you disassemble and troubleshoot your item. The clinic is free, but donations are welcome.

When: Saturday, July 12, 10 am to 1 pm

Over The Line World Championship

Over the line (OTL) is a beach softball game that originated in San Diego. Two teams of three players each compete to hit the ball over a line about 55 feet in front of the batter. Unlike traditional softball, OTL is played without bases. Like traditional softball, the team that scores the most runs wins. The Old Mission Beach Athletic Club hosts the sport's annual World Championship, held over two weekends. Teams dress up in costumes and bring tents, chairs, beer, and signs to the beach for the event.

When: Saturday July 12 and Sunday, July 13, 7 am to 8:30 pm

Gaslamp Food Crawl

Grab your crawl-tasting pass and come and taste the Gaslamp’s “secret” dishes on a food adventure with an after-party event. Try sample dishes and libations from participating venues such as Tivoli Bar & Grill, Smoking’ J’s BBQ, Arcade Monster, Cowboy Cantina, Kaluu Fine Dining, East Village Bowl and Tavern, Bucca Di Beppo, and Birria 664.
