Stuart Teshima, former chief financial officer of "a large San Diego-based Department of Defense contracting firm," according to the United States Attorney's office, today (October 4) pleaded guilty to embezzling more than $825,000 from the unidentified firm. He stole the money over eight years.

Teshima oversaw the company's credit card operation. He misused the company's credit cards for personal travel, jewelry, and the like. He would cook up fictitious business expenses to cover the thefts.

I could not reach the U.S. Attorney's office for identification of the company from which he stole the money. He was formerly senior vice president of finance and corporate comptroller for Epsilon Systems Solutions, which says he doesn't work there anymore.

Found a Stuart Teshima on LinkedIn who's listed as CFO for Nevwest, a defense contractor.

I hate it when someone tries to hide details.

jnojr: Yes, I found that one too last night. I felt bad about not naming the large company that he stole from. I had other ways I thought would reveal the information but frankly I didn't have time to go to those sources. Best, Don Bauder
