Angles 3, featuring Kjell Nordeson on drums, Ingerbrikt Haker Flaten on bass, and Martin K. on saxophone make a rare U.S. date at the Loft (9500 Gilman Drive) at 8 p.m. This concert is free… Nexus 4000 with Gabriel Sundy, Andy Geib, Nate Jarrell, Grant Fisher, Ed Kornhauser, Mack Leighton, and Charlie Weller play the Whistle Stop (2236 Fern Street) at 9 p.m. No cover… Gilbert Castellanos plays two gigs at Panama 66 (1450 El Prado) beginning at 6 p.m. when he hosts the Young Lions Series and continuing at 8:30 when he leads the jam session. No cover, no minimum, all-ages welcome.
