Telecommunications giant AT&T apparently felt generous back on June 13, anteing up a pair of free tickets to Sacramento’s Sleep Train Arena concert of Pitbull for Crystal Quezada, legislative director for first term San Diego Democratic assemblywoman Shirley Weber. The value of the freebies was reported to be $287.86. Only Roy Sianez, legislative director to assembly Democrat Norma Torres, did better, with two tickets and parking at the same event worth $299.86. Pitbull, aka Mr. Worldwide — whose real name, for those who don’t know, is Armando Christian Pérez — is one of the world’s biggest Latino rappers, with hits including “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” and “Give Me Everything.” Notes Wikipedia: “Pitbull made his film debut in Epic with a voice role of the character ‘Bufo’.”
