MojoPin came together at San Diego State University with Dave Euell (vocals, lead guitar), Gunnar Keeling (drums), Jack Harris (rhythm guitar), and Brian Egan (bass). They jokingly refers to what they do as "dad rock," despite all being in their twenties.
Their Fischtank Sessions cover of Pearl Jam's "Black" racked up more than 500K views and introduced many people to their raw, no-frills approach. They released their debut EP, Out the Door, in June 2026, promoted with singles for “Out The Door” and “Walking In The Rain.” By that time, the group had paired down to a trio, minus bassist Brian Egan.
