Sporting three lead singers, Bordertown evolved from a band called Wooden Angel, whose lead singer Wayne Nelson later became a touring member of the Little River Band. Bordertown gigged for over a decade before taking a break. They returned to the stage in 2009. Keyboardist Larry Groupé also writes and tours with Yes, as well as scoring Hollywood films.
Their album Angsters of Love won a 2005 San Diego Music Award.
