in Jam Sessions this week Garrett Harris our purveyor of all things Classical in Music has a blog whose title is "Forbidden Love Sucks"

and he states " First of all, forbidden love isn't love at all. More accurately it is an addictive sentimentality."

it is about various classical composers who wrote works of wonderful depth, ennui and resonance that were an inspire by unrequited love

hence Wagner's "Tristan and Isolde"

the picture in the corner was one i'd written a poem to years ago when i was enthralled with a poetic muse i often collaborated with...the one and the same..Tristan and Isolde

so there Garrett...take that!!!
