Hyperactive Oceanside rockers Burning of Rome have an eponymous India Pale Ale in the works by Pizza Port Ocean Beach’s head brewmaster Yiga Miyashiro.
“It’s to support our new record out in the spring,” says guitarist Joe Aguilar. “When you buy a pint of it you will receive a coaster that will have a free download for a song on the record.”
Aguilar says the beer is currently in its fermenting stage and the new album, With Us, is being looped on a stereo on top of the tank.
“If you are sitting at the bar you can hear it faintly being played 24/7 for the next three weeks, giving that yeast some motivation.”
Taste the end of the empire on February 16 at Pizza Port, Ocean Beach.
