C is for Cookie

My girlfriend brought me a supply of Coke Zero the other day. I realized I was drinking so much soda, it couldn't be good.

I've tried diet sodas, and they were disgusting. But Coke Zero tastes a lot better. It still has a bit of an aftertaste, but I can deal with it.

When she also had these cookies I love, that are covered in frosting, I figured that I could eat a few. I mean, hey...I just switched to diet soda.

And I wondered as I ate one, with the green sprinkles for St. Patricks Day getting in between my computer keyboard...is there a better cookie? I don't think there is.

Last time I was in the mall, I bought a bunch of Mrs. Fields in the food court. They weren't that great.

The next time, I went with one of their big cookies. You know the ones. When you have a secretary leaving because her husband got a job in Idaho, and they bring one of those big cookies into the office with a message in frosting.

This one wasn't even as good as the ones you buy at the grocery stores (aside from the frosting all over it, which was delicious).

I've said before, I don't see Girl Scouts anymore. I think the Westerfield thing kind of ruined the door-to-door sales.

I was addicted to Thin Mints and Samoas.

Mother's used to have a cookie that was square and white (kind of like me...[insert rim shot]). It was chocolate chip, and they were called "Angels". Not every store carried them, and now Mother's went out of business.

I never liked Oreo's. But they're good in ice cream.

I didn't care for Chip Ahoy, although as a kid, my mom used to sometimes buy the ones with coconut. Those were good.

I remember she would buy those ones shaped like peanuts, and they weren't bad. I haven't had one of those since I was 10.

Animal cookies with frosting, I never liked. And the dry ones weren't good, either.

As an adult, I like oatmeal raisin cookies, which I hated as a kid.

McDonald's sells three cookies for a buck, and they aren't bad.

I was at a party recently, and someone had pinwheels. They're kind of like a s'more, in cookie form. I love those. But, I was drinking a Margarita, and I think the taste of that didn't blend well with the pinwheels. They tasted gross.

Since it seems the blogs I do that have lists get the most responses, I thought I would make a list of the best cookies. Then I thought about that for a second, and realized I wasn't in 5th grade.
