Japan Hit by Second Quake
Don, Don't feel bad. Brandes bought Countrywide, WaMu, Fannie Mae, McClatchey, Lehman, etc...etc.....even the so-called "brilliant" investors eventually go bust in this rigged Stock Market.— April 10, 2011 10:10 p.m.
Japan Hit by Second Quake
California is loaded with gold-diggers, too. I grew up a Midwesterner like you and girls would ask what I like to do and about my family. In California, they ask "What do you drive?" and "How much money do you make?" Just all the wrong values. Read the article in the Union Tribune..as a condition of marriage, his 2nd wife stated, "He had to fix his nose, improve his wardrobe and get ambitious to work longer hours." He was making $181,000 in 1986 and she basically made it seem like he was a loser. Why marry her? No love there. Peace.— April 8, 2011 2:29 p.m.
Japan Hit by Second Quake
Don, Can you believe the greed level?? If this doesn't paint a picture of what it is like to work there, nothing does. Best— April 8, 2011 12:54 p.m.
Japan Hit by Second Quake
An earthquake has hit Brandes too...ex-wife can't live on $500,000 a month...wants $750,000 a month plus $140 million more in addition to the RSF home, Del Mar Beach house, Manhattan Penthouse, and condos in Utah. Amazing all this greediness when people are starving in this economy.— April 7, 2011 1:31 p.m.
San Diego Gaining Jobs, but Unemployment Rate Still above 10%
It was next to impossible to find a high paying job when unemployment was 5% in Scam Diego. Place is brutal and most are slaves to the wealthy.— March 28, 2011 7:59 a.m.
San Diegans Sparse in Forbes 400 List
$1.5 Billion? I feel a $10 million Halloween Party coming!!!— October 4, 2010 11:48 a.m.
Price Slashes, Improved Team Haven't Helped Padres
Too expensive. Do you realize Dodger Box Seats in 1995 were $9? Now, they are $120? Concessions are beyond insanity. Baseball is not exciting to youth so once the Baby-Boomers are gone, attendance is going to plunge big-time. Hard for kids to get excited because often they latch onto a player then that player moves on for more money. When I grew up, players stayed on teams their entire career.— September 30, 2010 8:23 a.m.
What??? Mr. Upbeat, Tony Robbins, Warns of Gloom
Reply to #70 True on the govey jobs...bye bye. There are going to be massive cuts. TR is a snake oil salesman but he snaked his way to alot of the power people in this Country so he should know what is going on. He is a colorful speaker, nonetheless.— August 30, 2010 2:02 p.m.
What??? Mr. Upbeat, Tony Robbins, Warns of Gloom
With Tony's connections, this is amazingly scary to me. Whatever you think of him, he is in touch with the power people in this Country and if he sees economic gloom ahead, then we should atleast listen. The derivative bubble is the thing that could really collapse us all and I think most people don't understand how bad this thing is! I think most people can even sense a large Depression coming and thus, the reason spending has stopped. We should have never ever let our greedy CEOs take jobs to China and India so they can make $100 million versus $3 million. We now as a Country have to come down to the wages of these horrific third world countries and the middle class is getting cremated. Look around. How many jobs as you drive down the street pay more than $10/hour. It is really a joke. Wages are nowhere near where they need to be to keep up with the cost of living. That is if you even have a job!— August 29, 2010 2:51 p.m.
County Unemployment Rate Jumps to 10.8%
The real unemployment rate in San Diego if you include part timers and underemployed is about 33%.— August 24, 2010 2:27 p.m.
