It looks like? OK, even allowing for your apparent lack of interest in anything other than "scams", scores of extraditions from Israel have been publicized in recent years. Not too long ago,NY extradited a guy who fled to Israel after murdering his own parents. Not long before that, two brothers and three of their "partners", all of whom are Israeli, were extradited from Israel to face charges of murder, money laundering, blackmail and drug trafficking. Allegedly, they ran their operation out of the San Fernando Valley. Earlier this year, Brooklyn man of Israeli heritage was extradited to the U.S. after an arrest warrant was issued for 2nd degree assault and a hate crime. A few months ago, a guy who was convicted of hit and run in Florida and took off to Israel in 2000 was returned to the U.S. Extradition of criminal, even those of Israeli descent, are not a rare or even an uncommon occurrence.— October 5, 2012 2:26 p.m.

San Diego water bill outrage
"this time she forgot to transfer the money into the proper account." I am so tired of hearing of people who screw up and then complain about the consequences. Bottom line is, she screwed up. Intentional or not, it was due to her own negligence. Whether or not the expenses of restarting her service is up for debate. But the fact remains, had she NOT forgotten to transfer the money it wouldn't have happened. And I can guarantee her husband turning the water back on himself was part of the reason for the high deposit request. And within a few days the water was shut off? That seems to stretch credibility just a bit, so I spent about 8 seconds looking it up. The bill due date is 15 days after the bill is sent and the shut-off date is 45-51 days after the bill is sent. That seems to indicate there is just a little more to this story than has been offered thus far.— October 5, 2012 1:07 p.m.

Oh come now Don Bauder. As poor as surfpuppy619 is with his spelling and grammatical structure, do you really believe that some of those longer posts, the ones more than 5 lines long and error free, are really of his own doing? That seems to stretch one's credibility just the slightest bit, don't you think? LOL— October 5, 2012 12:49 p.m.

surfpuppy619, I was involved with the antiwar movement while I was at Berkeley, late 60's and early 70's. Very involved. I can guarantee you that I was subjected to more " police, gov or "neighborhood watch" misconduct ", including physical, than you could fathom, involving agencies at the local, state and federal level. And that doesn't include anything that occurred around my involvement with the AAC, and in particular, a quiet late summer "vacation" in 1981. I can also guarantee you that there is no one more appreciative the 1st Amendment and the right to speak freely than I am, without regard to content, right up to the "yelling fire in a crowded movie theatre" threshhold. But in the usual convolutional lawyer way, you've tried to conjoin to completely disparate subjects. Any individual's comments regarding the quality of another's 'remarks, in terms of personal taste, are simply an expression of personal opinion and actually have nothing to do with attempting to limit free speech. Let me put it in terms you might understand more easily. In the 60's and early 70's, I publicly referred to law enforcement as pigs, usually with an accompanying F, as much as anyone I know. It was my freedom to do so, as it was others to comment on my choice of terminology. Then somewhere along the way, I grew up. BTW, you obviously missed the obvious cinematic reference. In Sudden Impact a guy Calahan arrested is being released due to Calahan's arrest "methods". Calahan is in the same elevator with him, grabs him and slams him into the side of the elevator and makes a "comparison" with him and dog shit. After he lets him go, the ADA looks at him and says "You're a class act Callahan. A real class act." Art imitating life, or the other way around?— October 5, 2012 12:42 p.m.

You're way too funny, surfpuppy619. Unless you're serious, in which case you're probably the laziest m-f-er I've ever heard of. LOL left click, highlight, right click copy, right click paste, left click search, five seconds. Less than 1 second, 900k entrees first entry "EXTRADITION IN ISRAEL - Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs". Well you said it not me "I was too lazy to research it". LOL!!— October 4, 2012 10:53 p.m.
