You will get hoodwinked on San Diego stadium costs
New taxes?? Perhaps you didn't read thoroughly: "Construction and the demolition of the existing Georgia Dome would be partially paid for with about $300 million generated by an existing hotel-motel tax in Atlanta and Fulton County." And this is far from a done deal. The Georgia World Congress Center Authority is a state agency that would own and operate the facility, but it is the state legislature that would have to vote to approve the deal. They would have raise the borrowing limit for the Congress Center to sell enough bonds to cover their part of the revenue needed to finance the deal, which would be. This was just the first step in laying out some of the details and is a non ebinding agreement— December 10, 2012 10:25 p.m.

Dream on. There will be no "bid" for a BCS championship game. The championship game rotates among the four BCS bowl game sites, Miami, Pasadena, New Orleans and Glendale. I don't see the BCS dropping any one of those sites and moving a game just to play in San Diego because they have a new stadium.— December 10, 2012 8:07 p.m.

Weird noise manglers
Looks like a faded in worn brown, all of the parts look correct for it. Best color for mahogany, IMO.— December 9, 2012 6:14 a.m.

"I called it 2 days ago :)" Yeah, right surfpuppy619. Anybody who follows the NFL knows Norval was done 2 weeks ago.— December 7, 2012 12:03 a.m.

Midway shopping center’s spiky trees with soft name
This isn't a kapok tree. Ceiba pentandra is the kapok tree. Obviously similar, but not the same. The kapok tree is substantially larger. If you've been to Hawaii, they are all over the islands. There used to be a large specimen, close to 150ft tall in Foster Botanical Garden on Oahu. I found this pic. The "stuff" used in life vests was the fibrous vegetable material found in the seed pods. http://sandiegoreader.com/users/photos/2012/dec/0…— December 2, 2012 9:24 a.m.
One owner 1966 Batmobile for sale
surfpuppy619, I believe that a little research would show that there was only 1 Lincoln Futura built. It was built as a one off concept car. It was hand built at Ghia Body Works in Turin, Italy in 1954, was unveiled in its original pearl “frost-blue” white paint finish in 1955 at the Chicago Auto Show. and was used in at least 1 movie. Barris made a mold of the #1 car and cast three replica car bodies in fiberglass and were mounted on 65-66 Ford Galaxy chassis. The coppies are all in private collections.— November 30, 2012 11:44 a.m.
