Movie Pet Peeves
I agree with Pete. The remakes are never as good. I rarely go to the movies anymore, because I fall asleep. Pulp Fiction was great. I must have played the soundtrack a million times. My pet peeve is that I hate seeing the same stars over and over, even if they aren't suited for a part. I know it's all about money, but I just do not see the allure of Jennifer Aniston. And Joan Collins wanted the part of the evil woaman in 101 Dalmations, but it went to Glenn Close because according to Joan, she had the bigger name. Joan would have been perfect for it. The movie stunk with Glenn in it.— August 5, 2009 11:12 p.m.
Driving Drunk Is Not Easy
SDaniels warned Josh about me? He warned me about her! She just doesn't like the fact that she's found people smarter than she is. She thinks that spewing a bunch of fancy BS makes a person smart. The fact is, there are all types of intelligence and she has few of them.— August 5, 2009 4:30 p.m.
Blackwater Head Wants to Rid World of Muslims: Testimony
"I rarely find it useful to pick on other folks's grammar..." That's not what Josh says.— August 4, 2009 11:36 p.m.
Another John Bobbitt?
June Cleaver was a robot. Josh! I'm so disappointed in you! You've just blown women's rights all to hell... For the record, the guy who's car I attacked had asked me if I wanted an open relationship. I said no. I said we don't have to get married and he said, no, I want to. I just want to get the rules straight. Within 5 months, he'd cheated with a Swedish babe in our house. He justified it by saying he never had sex with that woman in our bed. I never ate off the kitchen table again. When he saw the car, he got tears in his eyes and said, I didn't know you cared that much. I'm not even going to go into how I found out...— August 4, 2009 7:59 p.m.
Get a Leg Up
My daughter was hurt, but doesn't care to put in a claim. I do because I went through Hell when I went through cancer--two surgeries and radiation. On the day of the first surgery, I had five shots in my breast and I was put in a machine. The radiation gave me a sun burn. Last year, I was sick for all year with an ovarian cyst and had major surgery. I can't use narcotics because I'm allergic to them. In 2006, I was rear-ended by a police officer and in bed for weeks. I went to physical therapy. To me, my health is freedom. I was a victim and did not deserve to be jerked around by a Mercury adjuster. I admitted that the pain wasn't earth shattering, just bothersome. If I have to go to BH court, I think it should be worth my while. Thanks,Rickey. You're one of the few people around here, if not the only one, who has got any class.— August 3, 2009 9:06 p.m.
Helping the Homeless
I never give money to the homeless because I don't want to encourage them to hang out near my home. I've seen people on our corner with well-trained, purebred dogs wearing nicer collars than my dogs have. I've seen them begging in front of a "Help Wanted" sign in the window of Boston Market. I have little sympathy, but everyone's got to eat.— August 3, 2009 8:56 p.m.
Helping the Homeless
You should have come to Esco. There are a lot, of homeless here, but they aren't in groups. There is ALWAYS someone on the corner of Ninth and Valley Pkwy with a sign.— August 3, 2009 4:07 p.m.

Well, I used to read the comments of Josh and rickeysays and scroll passed most of the rest of them. I guess I'll scroll past rickey's too. What an insensitive ass! If he wants to say something nasty back, go ahead. I won't be reading it.— August 3, 2009 3:54 p.m.
Get a Leg Up
Tell me about it! I told you a few weeks ago that one of MJ's Paparrazzi rear-ended me. Mercury already screwedme out of a rental car, now their idiot adjuster is trying to screw me out of pain and suffering. I'm quite savvy in this area, as I've been rear-ended afew timesand she didn't listen to me. She said she was not prepared to believe that such a minor accident would cause me neck damage. Then she says, "I'm willing to work with you." Saying she's not going to pay me is not working with me,especially when I've gotten pain and suffering for emotional suffering in the past. I'm going to file against them in BH court. I originally wanted five hundred, but my price has gone up to $1,000, just for the pain of having to work with her. Under the law, they have to make me whole, not send me down the hole.— August 3, 2009 2:57 a.m.
Driving Drunk Is Not Easy
We do help people to some extent, although the cuts are slowing it down. I worked in probation with Prop. 36 offenders. These are people who get probation and drug treatment instead of going to jail. Many of them are so self-destructive, you can't help them. And the threat of going to jail does help. They were scared to death when they saw us. "Yes, Ma'm. No Ma'm. Anything you say Ma'm." They were so scared, they'd step aside when I walked down the hall. I think Irish is a bit optimistic about people's wanting to help themselves. Many are their own worst enemy. I think throwing them in the slammer for a good, long time, making it as painful as possible, goes a long way.— August 3, 2009 2:08 a.m.
